Freshmen vs. Exeter This Afternoon

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman football team will play its third game of the season this afternoon with Exeter Academy on Soldiers Field at 3 o'clock. So far this season the Freshmen have won the two games they have played, the first from Groton School by the score of 9 to 0, and the second from Andover Academy, 6 to 0. Exeter has played six games, winning four, having defeated Yale 1913, 6 to 0, and losing two, and has a well-developed, well-balanced eleven, with several experienced veterans from last year's team. Captain Downing of Exeter is in the infirmary with a slight attack of la grippe, and will not accompany the team to Cambridge. The Freshmen have developed an unusually powerful offence, and a close game is expected.

The probable line-up will be: HARVARD 1913.  EXETER. Hollister, l.e.  r.e., Faulkner Lingard, l.t.  r.t., Kirkpatrick Parmenter, l.g.  r.g., Mitchell Jones, c.  c., Cooney Keays, r.g.  l.g., Gormy Felton, r.t.  l.t., Holbrook Chadwick or Carr, r.e.  l.e., Gillis Gardner, q.b.  q.b., O'Brien Wendell, l.h.b.  r.h.b., Pearson Graustein, r.h.b.  l.h.b., Wilson Lewis, f.b.  f.b., Cornell
