At a meeting of the committee representing the heads of the club tables at Memorial Hall held to consider a plan for providing music at the Hall during football season, it was decided that, with the approval of the managing committee, a subscription of fifty cents would be asked from each member of the Hall. This subscription, which will be entirely voluntary, may be made at dinner tonight, and for the next few days, upon slips provided for the purpose, and will be charged upon the February term-bill. If the subscriptions are sufficient, Kanrich's orchestra will be engaged, and will play for an hour at dinner every Tuesday and Friday evening until the first of December; beginning next Tuesday, if possible.
The managing committee has consented to this plan, and if it commends itself to the University Dining Council, the music may be continued after December 1.
