Lieutenant Charles F. Gammon, military instructor in Tien Tain University, will give an illustrated lecture on "China" in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock.
For many years Lieutenant Gammon has held a commission from the Chinese government. He was with the allied armies during the Boxer uprising and was at the siege of Tien Tain. At that time he was largely influential in bringing relief to the sufferers. After the war Lieutenant Gammon returned to America, where he has delivered many lectures in all parts of the country concerning his experiences in China. The views which will be shown tonight are from photographs taken by himself during his stay in the far east.
