The Freshman baseball team won the first game of the season yesterday against Melrose High School by the score of 8 to 5. The hitting was very good on both sides and the errors were few. The features of the game were two home runs for the Freshman team, made by Clark and Mahan. Practically every member of the team made at least one hit, Nash doing particularly well with three hits out of four times at bat.
