Mr. J. D. Greene '96, secretary to the Corporation, will leave Cambridge today for an extended trip to the Middle West. Des Moines will be the most distant point visited by Mr. Greene, who expects to return to Cambridge on February 11. The purpose of his trip is threefold: to visit some of the leading state universities of the country, to be present at the meetings of various Harvard Clubs, and to discuss with high school principals and others the subject of college entrance examinations. Among the institutions to be visited are the Universities of Michigan, Chicago, and Wisconsin.
Mr. Greene's itinerary is as follows: January 7-8, Toledo; January 8-10, Detroit; January 11, Ann Arbor; January 12-14, Chicago; January 14-16, Milwaukee; January 16-18, Madison; January 19-20, Dubuque; January 20-21, Daven port; January 21-23, Iowa City; January 23, Grinnell; January 23-28, Des Moines; January 28-31, Champaign; February 1, Crawfordsville; February 1-3, Columbus; February 4-5, Oberlin; February 5-7, Cleveland; February 7-8, Buffalo; February 8-9, Rochester; February 9-10, Syracuse.
