The University second basketball team was defeated by Brown second by the score of 22-14 in an interesting game played in the Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. In the first half there was little scoring, both teams devoting themselves to defence work. The score at the end of this half was 7 to 5 in Brown's favor. In the second half the playing was faster and Johnson made three very remarkable goals for Brown. Towards the end of the game the second team braced, but were unable to overcome Brown's lead. Johnson did the best for Brown, and Moody showed up well for the second.
