MUSICAL CLUB CONCERT

Program of Several Original Compositions in Fogg at 8.--Tickets, $1.

The fifth annual concert of the Musical Club of the Department of Music will be given in the Fogg Lecture Hall, this evening at 8 o'clock. Reserved seats at $1 each may be procured at Kent's University Bookstore.

The Club was founded in 1898 and has for its object the promotion of musical knowledge and appreciation in the University, by the production of original compositions of the students, by the performance of standard works and by the discussion of musical subjects. The Club is composed of officers and students in the department.

The program for the concert is as follows: I. Symphonic study for violin, violoncello and pianoforte,  E. Royce '07 J. J. Demolins 1G., C. S. Poore '98, P. G. Clapp '09. II. Ballade in G minor,  Chopin C. D. Clifton '12. III. Two movements from quintet in C minor for strings and pianoforte,  P. G. Clapp '09 The Pierian Sodality String Quartet. J. J. Demolins 1G., C. S. Poore '98, C. C. Trump '09, O. W. Roosevelt '12, assisted by the composer. IV. (a) "Lullaby,"  A. W. Locke '05 (b) "Lovesong from the Greek,"  C. B. Roepper '10 (c) "The Wind,"  T. Lynes '11 F. R. Hancock '11. V. Sonata in C major, op. 53, for pianoforte,  Beethoven P. G. Clapp '09.
