An anonymous friend of the University has offered, and the Corporation has accepted, the sum of $150 a year for three years, to establish in Harvard University a scholarship to be enjoyed by a properly qualified graduate of Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa., who may desire to pursue his studies in one of the graduate departments. It is to be known as the "Huidekoper Scholarship," in memory of Edgar Huidekoper and Frances Shippen Huidekoper, of Meadeville, five of whose sons were graduated from Harvard College.
