The University basketball team will play Princeton this evening at the Princeton University Gymnasium at 7 o'clock. The team left for New York yesterday afternoon by way of the Fall River Line; they will reach Princeton this afternoon and return to Cambridge by the Federal Express tonight. Princeton has only two of last year's team back again this year and has made, so far, only a poor showing, Although it easily defeated Yale, the Princeton team was defeated by Columbia and the College of the City of New York and overwhelmed by the University of Pennsylvania.

The University team was beaten by Technology, as the latter had a remarkably strong five and it was the University team's first game. E. S. Allen '09 and E. S. Currie '09 are the only members back from last year's team, but H. B. Sheahan '11 and F. C. Wellman '11 have developed into speedy players since practice began. P. Newton '11 plays a reliable game at centre and gives promise of becoming a remarkable player.

The teams will line up as follows: HARVARD.  PRINCETON. Sheahan, l.f.  r.f., Meese Currie, r.f.  l.f., Keys Newton, c.  c., Hughes Allen, l.g.  r.g., Weeder Wellman, r.g.  l.g., Warner
