President Eliot is to make several addresses and take a trip to New York and Lakeville, Conn., during the latter part of this week. This evening he will address the Maine Club on "Returning to Maine after College" in the Trophy Room of the Union at 8 o'clock. He will give an informal talk at a dinner of the alumni of the English High School at Young's Hotel on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. On Friday the President is to speak in New York before the Public Educational Association on "The Improvement of School Committees or Boards of Education," and on the following day he will make a short speech at a luncheon of the Radcliffe Club of New York at Delmonico's. Saturday afternoon President Eliot will leave New York for Lakeville, where he will address the students of the Hotchkiss School on "Preparation for an Effective Life." The President expects to return to Cambridge next Sunday.
