Hopkinson Smith Union Tomorrow

Mr. F. Hopkinson Smith will speak in the Living Room of the Union tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The title of his address will be "Mud." Members of the Union only will be admitted.

Mr. Smith was educated as a mechanical engineer. He built the Race Rock lighthouse off New London and laid the foundation for the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor. He is also well known as an artist and an author. His landscape work in water-colors and charcoal have been awarded medals at several expositions and by many art societies. Mr. Smith has written some delightful short stories, the best known of which are "The Under Dog," "The Wood Fire in No. 3" and "Colonel Carter of Cartersville."
