H. H. Wilder '09 won the University golf championship for the second time yesterday afternoon by defeating B. W. Corkran 1L. 2 up and 1 to play in the final match of the University tournament.
The match was very close, it being even up for the first half. In the second half there were four tie holes, and of the rest Wilder got three to Corkran's two. Wilder received a gold medal as University champion and Corkran, as runner-up, was awarded a silver one.
J. C. Parrish 1L. defeated M. MacArthur 10 in the final round of the consolation match. Parrish was awarded a silver medal. The matches yesterday ended the golf season for this spring.
