FRESHMEN WON LACROSSE

Defeated Columbia Freshmen In Final Game, Saturday, by Score of 2 to 0.

The Freshman lacrosse team won the final game of its season in the Stadium on Saturday against the Columbia freshmen by a score of 2 to 0. This game is the second victory the team has had this year, having defeated the strong Brooklyn Polytechnical Preparatory School, 3 to 1. The only other game on the schedule was lost to the Brooklyn Boys High School by a score of 2 to 1.

The game on Saturday was slow and uninteresting, and at no time was the Harvard goal threatened. Voshell and Foster played the fastest game for the Freshmen and it was only due to the good defensive work of Palmer, the Columbia goal, that Harvard was prevented from scoring more times.
