At a meeting of the Athletic Committee held last evening it was voted to ask the four class presidents to appoint a committee of undergraduates to confer with the Athletic committee in accordance with the recommendation of the Faculty. Action on the question of abolishing winter sports, now before the Committee, was again postponed in order to give the undergraduates time to present their plans, as the Faculty wished.
It was also voted to join the New England Intercollegiate Association for Conference on Athletics.
In addition, the schedule of the University tennis team was approved as follows: May 16, Princeton at Longwood; May 30, Yale at new Haven. The Rifle and Pistol Club was granted permission to hold a contest with Massachusetts Institute of Technology on May 23.
