The three spring shooting tournaments, for the handicap, scratch and novice cups, respectively, will begin on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 3 o'clock, and continue for two weeks. The handicap and scratch contests are open to all undergraduates, and the novice contest to all who have not been on the University team. Each man will shoot five strings of 25 birds each, four of which will qualify. At the end of the competition, a week from Saturday, the cup for the highest average of the season will be awarded.
