Freshmen Won in Baseball by 14 to 2

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman baseball team won its first game of the season with Browne and Nichols School, yesterday afternoon by the decisive score of 14 to 2. The Freshman battery far excelled that of their opponents. At the bat, however, the Freshmen, though fairly effective, were not as strong as they should have been against such week pitcher. The fielding of both teams was only fair.

The score by innings: Innings,  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9 R.  H.  E. 1911,  1  0  7  0  0  1  2  3  x--14  13  1 B. and N.,  0  0  0  0  1  1  0  0  --2  68
