The Shooting Club grounds in Soldiers Field will be open soon and regular practice will take place three times a week. Five teams will be chosen from the eligible men who have shot best and most regularly: the University team, consisting of five men and two substitutes; the Freshman team, of five men and one substitute; and three class teams of five men each. Meets for the University team will probably be arranged with the B. A. A., Princetorn, Norfolk and Yale, and there will be an intercollegiate shoot at Riverside on May 9. The Freshmen will shoot with the Yale freshmen. Captains of class teams will be appointed as soon as possible after practice begins, and the class shoot will take place later in the month.
Two cups will be offered for the season's average in two classes, A and B, and one for handicap shoots in both classes. Cups will also be offered to the men with the highest practice average, and to the members of the winning class team.
