Competition for 440 Cup This Week

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The 440-yard handicap competition for the possession of the Wells cup for one year will be held in the Stadium on Thursday and Saturday of this week. Two days are given to the competition this year in order that the trial heats may not be crowded too much, and to give contestants a chance to recover from the trials before the finals.

Any member of the University is eligible to enter, and must do so in the blue book at the Locker building before 6 P. M. Wednesday. All competitors, even though examined for track games since Jan. 1, must see Dr. Sargent at the Gymnasium today from 2 to 4 and get cards permitting them to run. This permit will last for the rest of the season.
