Strings Attached: How Harvard’s Wealthiest Alumni Are Reshaping University Giving
An unexpected change was made in the order of the first University crew yesterday afternoon when Sargent resumed his former position at stroke. Morgan has held this place for several weeks, and the change seems all the more sudden, since Sargent had apparently been dropped from the squad after the race on Saturday. As a result of this shift Morgan will go to the second crew, probably at number four. Yesterday he stroked the second boat in the absence of Reece, who is suffering from a slight cold.
The orders of the two crews for the time being will probably be as follows:
Crew A--Stroke, Sargent; 7, Richardson; 6, E. Bacon; 5, Waid; 4, Lunt; 3, Severance; 2, Fish bow Faulkner; cox., Blagden.
Crew B--Stroke, Reece; 7, Marvin; 6, Lovering; 5, Wyman; 4, Morgan; 3, Tilton; 2, G. Bacon; bow, E. Cutler; cox., King.
