The Rev. Hudson Stuck, Archdeacon of Alaska, will deliver an illustrated lecture on "Work in Alaska," in Peabody Hall, Brooks House, at 7.30 o'clock this evening. The lecture will be given under the auspices of the St. Paul's Society and will be open to the public.
Dr. Stuck was graduated from King's College, London, in 1883, and from the University of the South at Suwannee, Fla., in 1892. From 1894 to 1903 he was Dean of the Episcopal Cathedral at Dallas, Texas. Four years ago he was appointed to the archdeaconship of Alaska. His work there extends over the territory of the valley of the Yukon river and its tributaries, where he is constantly founding and visiting missions.
This is his first return to the United States since beginning his work in Alaska, and the lecture tonight will be an unusual opportunity to hear of that little-known country.
