A socialist club was formed in the Union last evening with about twenty charter members. After some discussion. it was voted to call the club the "Harvard Socialist Club."
The object of the club is to educate its members and. in a broader sense. the whole University, in the discussion of the radical social thought of the day. Speakers of national note will probably be secured, who represent the most advanced sociological and economic thought. with especial attention to the various phases of socialism. The club is a political organization only in so far as its objects may be advanced by these meetings. The next meeting will be held some time next week when officers will be elected.
