The swimming team is badly in need of more candidates. To be sure the chances of a championship in the water sports are bound to be greatly reduced as long as we are without a University tank; but without proper support the team will be helplessly handicapped. We are about to meet Yale, - weak in the plunging and diving events and yet without candidates for the distance swims. But the season is only just begun; and there is still time for the team to acquit itself with a creditable record, if more men can be found to take an active interest in the sport.
