The following new half-courses under the Faculty of Arts and Sciences are offered for the first time during the ensuing second half-year. All of the courses with the exception of Mathematics H are listed in the University Catalogue. The five courses in Classical Philology and Government 4b, Education 6, and Mining and Metallurgy 27 are starred courses and the previous written consent of the instructor is required for registration in any one of them. History 9b will not be given by Dr. Prothero as announced in the catalogue, as he is unable to come to America this year, but will be given instead by Professor Haskins, Professor Maovane, and Dr. Merriman. Mention should also be made of Government 4b, a special course in International Relations to be given by Professor Wilson of Brown University.
