HOCKEY WITH ANDOVER

In Stadium at 3.--Improvement in Yesterday's Practice.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University hockey team will play Phillips Andover Academy in the Stadium this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Andover is not considered a strong team this year and was defeated by the Freshmen a few weeks ago by the score of 7 to 1. Since then the team has improved only slightly, recently winning from Vermont Academy 1 to 0.

Yesterday the University team played much better than on Monday and defeated the second in a long scrimmage, 6 to 1. The forwards played a fast, hard game and the passing and shooting were much more accurate than of late.

Admission to the game this afternoon will be by season ticket and by 25-cent tickets admitting to the Stadium.

The line-up: HARVARD.  ANDOVER. Pell, l.e.  r.e., Cole Hicks, l.c.  r.c., Martin Rumsey, r.c.  l.c., Twombly Newhall, r.e.  l.e., Dunn Ford, c.p.  c.p., Larius Willetts, p.  p., Nichols Washburn, g.  g., Gifford
