In New York This Afternoon.--Place for Meet to Be Decided On.

The annual meeting of the Intercollegiate association of Amateur Athletes of America Will be held at the Fifth avenue Hotel, New York, this afternoon,

The place for the annual intercollegiate track meet will be decided on and a manager for this meet appointed. The authority of the defunct Intercollegiate Cross Country Association will be taken over, and rules adopted to govern cross-country runs. Officers for next year will be elected and the following recommendations of the executive committee acted on.

"That each college shall enter at least twelve men in the cross-country meet, seven of whom may start and the first five count as the team." Last year six men constituted the team.

"That any associate college that is not represented during two consecutive years at the annual field meet by at least three men, or by at least five men at the annual cross-country run, shall forfeit its membership."

"That no one shall represent any college or university at any intercollegiate meet who has attended any training table without paying for his board at that training table an amount equal to that which his board would have cost him had he not been at that training table."

G. Emerson '08 will represent the University at the meeting.
