The University baseball squad has been at work in the cage daily for the past week. All the regular men are practicing now, except H. McCall '09. last year's second baseman, who will not be able to begin work for about a month on account of his broken ankle. The pitchers have been barred curves and will continue to use straight balls for a while. They are all showing a consistent increase of speed.
