At a meeting of the Corporation on January 13, W. S. Ferguson was appointed Assistant Professor of History for five years from September 1, 1908. Professor Ferguson has been connected with the University of California for several years, and will be a very valuable addition to the History department. On February 24, the following appointments were made: E. A. Darling '90. Assistant Professor of Physiology, for five years from September 1, 1908; R. S. Morison '69, Librarian of the Divinity School, Emeritus, from July 1, 1908; A. S. Cobb '07, assistant in economic Geography, for the second half of the current academic year.

The following resignations have been received: R. S. Morison '69, Librarian of the Divinity School and Secretary of the Faculty of divinity, to take effect July 1, 1908; W. W. McLaren, member of the Board of examination Proctors, to take effect February 18, 1908; E. Q. abbot, Proctor, to take effect February 22, 1908.
