At the monthly meeting of the directors of the Harvard Co-operative Society held last night, plans were discussed for erecting a clock on the angle of the Co-operative Society building. This clock would be lighted at night by electricity, run on observatory time, and so placed as to face Harvard Square.
On February 15, 1908, the total business transacted since the beginning of the fiscal year, August 1, 1907, amounted to $181,683.23. The total amount of business transacted between the corresponding dates last year amounted to $167,152.01, showing an increase of $14,531.22. The increase has been mainly in the Men's Furnishing department.
The total enrollment of members on February 15, 1908, was 2410. The membership at this time last year was 2132, showing an increase of 278.
