A NEGLECTED OPPORTUNITY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Early in November the Crimson offered a suggestion that a general memorandum book be kept in the office of the Union, in which men who are arranging functions of more or less importance might enter dates and thus avoid unnecessary conflicts of engagements. Such a book was accordingly started with the consent of the Union authorities, but so far the scheme has met with no support. As was pointed out at the time, the value of the book depends entirely upon the spirit with which it is used. Its present incompleteness renders it absolutely worthless. We still believe that a complete record would be of the greatest value, but if another trial proves that it is not wanted, the book will be removed.
