Again the captain of the track team has been compelled to issue an appeal for candidates. The situation is the more distressing because the letter is addressed not only to the unknown quantity, but to the men of experience, whose negligence is handicapping the coaches in this most crucial of all years. Now of all times they have no right to rest on their laurels. Every man whose experience or inclination leads him to believe that he can be of the slightest help in developing a winning team, is willfully injuring his own cause and the cause of the whole College, if he does not report for track duty without further delay.
