Seven Retained at Pasteur Trials

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At the trial debating contest for the Pasteur Medal in Dane Hall last night the following seven men were retained for the final contest on January 14: J. C. Bills, Jr., '09, C. S. Collier '11, J. W. Finkel '11, G. L. Harding '10, R. H. Smith '10, F. Stern '12, and H. T. Viets '09. The original intention was to choose six men, but the judges decided, owing to the closeness of the competition, to retain seven. The judges were the Marquis de Bouthillier-Chavigny, Professor R. M. Johnston, M. Allard, M. C. Leckner '07, and J. S. Davis '07.
