Mr. Robert Hunter, author of "Poverty" and "Socialists at Work," will speak on "Socialism" in Emerson F this evening at 8 o'clock. After being graduated from the University of Indiana in 1896, Mr. Hunter became secretary of the Chicago Bureau of Charities. In 1902 he was made chairman of the New York Child Labor Commission and has since accomplished a great deal toward bettering the conditions among the poor of New York City.
