Novice Gymnastic Tournament at 8

The fourth annual novice gymnastic tournament will be held in the Hemenway Gymnasium this evening at 8 o'clock. A cup has been offered by W. C. Bennett '08, captain of last year's team, for the all-round championship of the tournament, and prizes will be awarded to the winners of first and second places in each event. The judges will be Mr. C. B. Lewis, instructor of gymnastics at Tufts College, Mr. B. H. Capet, physical director of the Somerville Y. M. C. A. Gymnasium, and Mr. L. Mason, physical director of the Brookline Municipal Gymnasium.

The contestants have been coached for several weeks by Mr. C. L. Schrader, instructor in gymnastics, and G. F. Evans 3Dv. The University gymnastic team will be composed largely of the winners of tonight's events. The following is the list of entries: horizontal bar-H. L. Groves '12, R. V. Moody '11, A. B.
