The first of a series of six lectures by Rev. Otis Cary, D.D., missionary of the American board of commissioners in Kyoto, will be given in Peabody Hall, Phillips Brooks House, this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The general topic of the course is "The History of Christianity in Japan"; and the special subject of today's lecture will be "The Jesuit Missions of the Sixteenth Century." These lectures, all of which are open to the public, are being given under the auspices of the faculty of the Andover Theological Seminary.
