Mr. Francis W. Hirst, editor of the "London Economist," who delivered a lecture on "The London Money Market" yesterday afternoon, will speak on "The Political Economy of War" in Emerson D this evening at 8 o'clock. He will take up the effect of war on labor and industry, its economic consequences, and the best method of financing it: and he will describe the modern competitions in armament and will discuss the naval rivalry of nations. The lecture will be open to the public.
