The annual meeting of the directors of the Co-operative Society was held yesterday to elect officers for the fiscal year 1908-09. The report of the year 1907-08, which contains the by-laws of the society as an appendix, was presented and accepted. The nominations of the following men were ratified: from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, C. L. Bouton; from the alumni, A. S. Johnson '85; from the University at large, H. L. Blackwell '99; from the Graduate School, J. Ford 3G.; from the Law School, N. Kelly 3L.; from the Medical School, Dr. W. B. Cannon '96; from the Senior class, L. K. Lunt; from the Junior class, W. P. Fuller; from the Sophomore class, G. E. Jones.
There will be a meeting of the Freshman Debating Society in Upper Dane this evening at 8 o'clock for the purpose of arranging a schedule for the season.
