Mr. D. O. Ives '79, chairman of the Official Classification Committee of New York, will give a lecture on "Classification in Railroad Rates" in Harvard 1 today, at 8 o'clock. Mr. Ives has been in the railroad business for over 20 years. He started with an unimportant position and has worked his way, step by step, into one of importance.

The lecture bears upon the subject of rates, treated in Economics 5, and all members of that course are urged to attend. The lecture is open only to members of the University.
