HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
The University football team will play the Brown eleven in the Stadium at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Brown has a strong, fast team, and although it was defeated last Saturday by two goals from the field, the rest of its schedule has been very successful. Mayhew, the left halfback and captain, is an exceptionally fast man. Last year Brown was defeated in a very close game by the score of 6 to 5.
Burr, while falling on the ball in the preliminary practice yesterday, wrenched his arm and will not be able to play today. The full extent of his injuries is not known, but apparently no ligaments or muscles were torn. McGuire will take his place at left guard. Dunlap will play in Hoar's position at right guard on account of injuries to the latter's hip. Houston will start the game at left end and Cutting will probably be substituted for him in the second half.
The teams will line up as follows: The University team was given a very light practice yesterday. The first and second teams had a short signal practice and were not on the field more than half an hour. Of the men injured in previous practices Sprague was on the field and practiced punting, and West was in the substitutes' line-up. Withington, who has been playing tackle, is being tried out at end, and with Brown played on the substitute team.
