To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

A story appeared in the Boston Journal of October 17 stating that a student from South Boston had made certain remarks about his chances of making the football team. I presume that Mr. O'Flaherty is referred to. Mr. O'Flaherty is not eligible for the team, as this is his first year. He was urged to come out by me. He made no such suggestions or remarks as the Journal states. W. F. GARCELON.
