The University hockey squad held a short practice yesterday afternoon on the rink in the Stadium. Owing to the heavy rain, the ice was covered with about a half-inch of water, and accurate passing or shooting was impossible. Most of the practice consisted in fast skating, in order to get the men into as good physical condition as possible for the game with Technology today.

In a 10-minute scrimmage, in which neither side scored, the teams lined up as follows: UNIVERSITY TEAM.  SECOND TEAM. Pell, l.e.  r.e., Hicks Briggs, l.c.  r.c., Irving Rumsey, r.c.  l.c., Cutler, Crosby Newhall, r.e.  l.e., Gardner Ford, c.p.  c.p., Lovering Willetts, p.  p., Butt, Sampson Washburn, g.  g., Carpenter
