The CRIMSON has received a letter from Coach Warner of the Carlisle football team in which he states the new eligibility rules which the Carlisle Athletic Association drew up following the recent criticism of the athletic system there. The new regulations provide that only regularly enrolled students, and not employees, shall be eligible to represent the school in the future, and that no student shall represent Carlisle in football for more than four years. Under these rules Mt. Pleasant, Lubo, Hendricks, Gardiner and Exendine will be ineligible next fall.
Only two members of last year's squad, one regular and one substitute, were employee of the school, the rest being bona-fide pupils. Two others had played football more than four years.
