Mr. Robert V. Norris, E.M., will deliver the first of twelve lectures on "Coal Mining" at 10 o'clock this morning in the Lecture Room of the Rotch Building. These lectures will be open to the members of the University and will be given as follows: January 6, 2.30 P. M.; January 7, 9 A. M., and 12 M.; January 8 10 A. M. and 2.30 P. M.; January 9, 9 A. M. and 2.30 P. M.; January 10, 10 A. M. and 2.30 P. M.; January 11, 9 A. M. and 12 M.
Mr. Norris is a graduate of the mining school of the University of Columbia, where he received the degree of E.M. He is consulting engineer for several large mining companies in the anthracite coal regions of Pennsylvania. The course of lectures which he is to give this week will la similar to the course of ten lectures which he gave here in January, 1907.
