THE YALE BASKETBALL GAME.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This evening the University basketball team plays its most important rival, Yale, in Mechanics Hall, Boston. Much as we regret the policy that forces the basketball management to cater to the public instead of the University, the importance of the contest as between college rivals should not be lost sight of for a moment.

So far the Harvard team has met with varying success, at times showing signs of ability, and again falling down before mediocre opponents. The men have the proper spirt, however, and deserve the support of the University. Although the game is played in Boston, let it be a Harvard, and not a public affair.
