1910 WON INTERCLASS HOCKEY

Defeated the Freshmen by Superior Team play.--Score 5 to 1.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Sophomore hockey team won the interclass championship yesterday afternoon by defeating the Freshmen in the Stadium 5 goals to 1. The Freshmen were completely outclassed, and, but for a lucky shot by Seamans, would not have scored. The team-work of the Sophomores has been steadily improving throughout the series, and yesterday was far better than that of the Freshmen. Earle and Lanigan did the best work for the Sophomores and Seamans and Dick for the Freshmen.

The summary: 1910.  1911. Seaverns, l.e.  r.e., Seamans Earle, l.c.  r.c., Dick Chapin, r.c.  l.c., Cutler, Hornblower Lanigan, r.e.  l.e., Chase, Leslie Parker, p.  p., Johnson Wolfe, g.  g., Andrews

Score--1910, 5; 1911, 1. Goals--Seamans, Earle 2, Lanigan, Seaverns, Chapin. Referee--Crosby. Timer--Burton. Time--20-minute halves.

As the result of the interclass contest would not be affected by the outcome of a game between the Juniors and Seniors, it has been decided to call the game off.
