The Sophomores defeated the Seniors in the second game of the interclass hockey series played on Artificial Pond yesterday afternoon by the score of 5 to 0, completely outplaying their opponents. Though the team-work of both sides was weak, the play was fast, and the shooting, especially on the part of the Sophomores, was very accurate. Earle and Seaverns played the best game for the Sophomores, and Burton and Harding for the Seniors.
As the Sophomores have defeated both the Senior and the Junior teams, they have won the right to play the Freshmen for the class championship. This game will probably be played Monday.
The summary: Score--1910, 5; 1908, 0. Goals--Earle 3, Chapin 1, Lanigan 1. Referee--Leslie '11. Time--20-minute halves. Seniors vs. Juniors.
