At the last meeting of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences it was voted to send to the President and Fellows of Harvard College, the Committee on Athletic Sports, and to each college represented in the Association of Colleges in New England, the following expression of opinion: "That in the opinion of this Faculty the number of intercollegiate contests should be largely reduced."
