A cablegram received in Cambridge Wednesday announced the safe arrival of Professor Alexander Agassiz director and curator of the University museum, in Liverpool. Professor Agassiz is on his way to Africa, where he intends to thoroughly explore most of the territory not entered by Stanley in his search for Livingstone. This portion of Africa, lying just south of the Sahara, and occupying, as it does, the central part of the continent offers the greatest difficulties to explorers.
