The University hockey squad practiced yesterday afternoon on Hill Pond, Arlington. A 25-minute scrimmage was held in which the University team defeated the second team by the score of 1 to 0. The shooting was hard and accurate and the forwards are rapidly developing and the forwards are rapidly developing team work. Sampson and Willetts at point kept down the score by their excellent defensive work. Rumsey did the best work of the forwards. Score-University team, 1; Second team, 0. Goal-Pell. Timer-Donovan. Time-25-minute period. Team Leaves for New York on 1 o'clock. The team will leave for New York this afternoon on, the 1 o'clock train for the Columbia game, and will hold practice at the St. Nicholas Rink this evening.
