N. L. Hall '07, has been appointed coach of the Freshman football team. The choice is an especially fortunate one, as Hall is a player of unusual ability and will command the confidence of all. His football experience has been exceedingly varied, for he has played on teams representing the Malden High School, the Hopkinson School and the 1907 Freshman class. On the latter team, the last to defeat the Yale freshmen, he played a strong game at end, and but for lack of weight would have been a valuable addition to the University squad. In his Sophomore year he failed to get a place on the team, being still too light, and in his junior year he met with an accident that kept him out of the scrimmage for the entire season. Last year he played a splendid game at quarterback in several of the minor games, and after the close of the season was awarded the University "H" by the Athletic Committee.
