THE RACE AT NEW LONDON

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

When the crew left for New London, it had behind it the record of two races lost, and during the first week of practice on the Thames, the reports were in general unfavorable. Recent developments are proving, however, that the University eight is of strong calibre. The latest time trial was very satisfactory and the men seem to be working together better. With the final eight picked, and another week for Coach Wray to round the crew into perfect form, Harvard's chances of victory seem very bright. Our only wish is that Captain Bacon's men will have to further setbacks due to sickness. With the crew in its best condition, we are confident that the final and most important race of the year will be a success from a Harvard standpoint.
